Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program

Landowners interested in restoring or maintaining wildlife habitat on agricultural land, non-industrial private forest land, and Indian land, such as by planting or improving a stand of mast-producing trees and shrubs for wildlife habitat, may be eligible for technical assistance and cost-sharing (up to 75%) from the Wildlife Habitat Incentives Program (WHIP) administered by the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
